CALL FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS

With reference to the 43rd Annual Conference of the New York African Studies Association (NYASA) hosted by Seton Hall University on April 13-14, 2018, the NYASA Publication Committee is inviting conferees who presented papers to submit their completed manuscript on the conference theme: “Global Africa: Human Migration, the African Diaspora, and the Future”  for consideration for publication.

Information for Authors:

  1. The completed manuscript must be written in English
  2. Original work related to the conference will be considered
  3. Manuscripts should contain five major parts:
    1. Paper Title
    2. Abstract of 120-220 words
    3. 5 Keywords
    4. Main Body of the Essay
    5. References
  4. The latest APA style must be utilized in referencing
  5. Manuscripts should be written in MS Word format
  6. Authors should use Times New Roman font
  7. Manuscripts should be double-spaced in text formatting and 15-20 pages in length.
  8. Authors must obtain permission to use photographs and/or diagrams which are not theirs.

Peer Review and Editorial Process:

All submissions will be peer reviewed and the editors reserve the right to make changes that are necessary for the publication, direct the authors to make changes, or reject the paper.  

Deadline: 

The deadline for submission of your manuscript is October 31, 2018
